Woodworker’s Club Needs Building at LOW

The Woodworker’s Club has approached FLOW for help with funding a building for all of their projects. The club has helped with many “in-house” projects for Lake of the Woods, including the dog park, pools shade structures, wheelchair ramps for handicapped residents.

FLOW has approved the funding of the project. Now we need to find a location and building! Suggestions? Please contact us at [email protected].

Equestrian Scholarships Continue

After two successful years of scholarship fundraising, the Equestrian Committee will continue offering riding lesson scholarships to students interested in horses and learning how to ride them. Past scholarship winners are pictured here:

Qualifications: Applicants (ages 7 -18) must have parental approval, live in the LOW community, and complete an application that includes a paragraph on why they want to be selected. A riding scholarship would cover the cost of a block of five riding lessons (valued at $245) at the LOW Equestrian Center. For further information, see UPDATES on the FLOW website.
